Steve Brotman is the Managing Partner of Silicon Alley Venture Partners. Previously, he was a Managing Director of GSA Venture Partners, and co-founder and co-head of Greenhill SAVP. Prior to founding SAVP in 1998, Steve was the founder, CEO and Chairman of AdOne Classified Network, one of the nation's leading classified ad web sites which merged with Powerdz to become PowerOne Media.

Brian Cohen, NY Angels

Brian is the Vice Chairman, Board of Directors of NY Angels. He created iFluence PR a strategic behavioral-based communications consultancy for the new earned influence/social media community. Its focus is on understanding determinant business success factors and using qualitative customer research matched with highly aggressive guerrilla communications techniques to achieve client marketing objectives while providing the greatest financial value possible.

Ellie Wheeler, Greycroft Capital

​Ellie is a Senior Associate with Greycroft Partners and is a member of the New York office. Her responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, sourcing new deals, and working with existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining Greycroft, Ellie worked at Lowercase Capital with investor Chris Sacca. Before that she worked at Cisco doing acquisitions, investments and began her career in growth capital private equity at Summit Partners in Boston..

Bill Reinisch, Paladin Capital

William Reinisch is responsible for the investment activities in the New York office of Paladin Capital.He is also the CEO and Founder of XIV River. He specializes in strategy and investments for the high tech industry.He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Stevens Institute of Technology.He was most previously the VP of Strategy and Technology with Motorola.In this role he was responsible for intellectual property standards and the corporate technology portfolio in addition to positioning Motorola for growth in emerging new market segments.Previously, he was at Motorola as a strategic advisor to the Chief Strategy Office.                                     â€‹

​Heather Gilchrist

Heather was a founding member of educational technology startup Grockit, the world’s first massively multiplayer online learning game. Grockit made an early pivot that was essential to its success. The experience inspired her to become more deeply involved in the entrepreneurial community. She currently advises several student and other young entrepreneurs in New York and Washington, D.C., and is developing two related projects, one with D.C. Tech activist and entrepreneurship attorney Adam Zuckerman and another in-house at RAK.

David Beatty, Goldenseeds

​David is a serial entrepreneur and Angel investor. David has co-founded 7 companies since starting Empire Messaging Inc. in 1993, and has successfully exited 3 companies so far. David has invested in over 15 startups and is a member of Golden Seeds, a angel investor group based in New York.He is currently working on AngelExchange, an online service to help startup CEOs organize and execute corporate governance.

Thomas Blum, G.C. Anderson

Thomas Blum has spent 22 years as an investment banker and an investor in private equity and venture capital opportunities.Prior to joining Andersen Partners in 2006, Mr. Blum ran Channel Capital LLC, a firm he founded in 2001 to make venture capital investments and provide financial advisory services to emerging companies. While with Channel Capital, Mr. Blum backed eleven companies.
